Ralph Williams and Tyjuan Williams are reported to be arrested by the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office arrested Ralph Williams and Tyjuan Williams for the murder of Amber Woods, who was 16 when she disappeared. The suspects’ half-brother, Jamaine Brown, was arrested for acting as an accessory after the murder, Bradenton Herald reports.
In connection with the death of a Florida girl who was found dead in 2006, three suspects were arrested.

A driver found Woods’ body on State Road 62 on February 11, 2006, about three miles from Hardee County. Woods’s aunt told the police that he saw the young man at his Hardee County home on the 3100 islands of State Road 62 about six hours before the last discovery.
Fox 13 Tampa Bay reported that Ralph Williams and Woods were dating when they disappeared, according to Sheriff Rick Wells. He reportedly wanted to end their relationship.
A text message exchange revealed that Williams thought Woods at the time was pregnant and was concerned that he was underage.
The autopsy later revealed that she was not pregnant.
Despite the text message, the authorities did not have sufficient evidence to make an arrest in the case. According to the police, the suspects “lied about their whereabouts”.
In 2019, the authorities reopened the case and used cell phone tracking software that was previously unavailable. Monitoring software placed Ralph William’s phone near Woods’ site, and he disappeared that same night.
What we know so far about Ralph Williams and Tyjuan Williams
In November, investigators reportedly learned that Brown’s Ralph Williams had taken Woods to the remote area where Tyjuan Williams shot and killed him. Brown admitted that Ralph Williams had helped Woods drag his body into a high grassy field before he escaped the area.
An autopsy report confirmed that Woods died from a bullet wound in his back.
Ralph Williams, already in jail for unrelated crimes, was charged with second-degree murder. Tyjuan Williams, who was also in prison for unrelated crimes, was charged with second-degree murder on December 15. Both stay behind bars without bail.
Brown, a sex offender convict, has previously pleaded guilty to accessory charges. He is currently behind bars in the Manatee County prison.
