Poeti Norac is a French surfing champion who has recently died at the age of 24, the French Surfing Federation has confirmed.

The longboard surfer is best known for finishing runner-up in the French national championships in 2018 and third in 2016. She has also recorded 10 victories in the Coupe de France including the 100% Girls competition in 2017.
She was 24 years old at the time of death

According to the reports, she had moved to Australia for several months, and last weekend, she was announced dead on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.
“The surfing community has lost a member of its family, a beautiful person with a shining smile, an artist on the longboard whose enthusiasm radiated frim Vendée and everywhere else, a statement worte on the French Surfing Federation’s website.
The young star had begun with her father at the age of 6 in her hometown Les Sables-d’Olonne on the west coast of France. She had been in the compeittion for 10 years having promoted from short to longboard format.
However, there has not been no reports of the cause of her death. The French Surfing Federation is still under statements with her family regarding her cause of her death.
