On Sunday, Layla was reported missing to Cronulla Police station and officers have commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.
At the time, she was leaving for a dance camp. Her mother had spoken to her about picking her up from Cronulla, however, police said the plan fell through. Layla’s distressed mother alerted police on January 24 as police launched a search for the young girl.
Both police and Layla’s family hold grave concerns for her welfare.
She is described as being of Mediterranean appearance, olive skin, thin build, 160cm to 165cm tall, brown eyes.
Layla is known to frequent the Cronulla and Miranda areas.

“Police and family have serious concerns for her welfare,” NSW Police said in a statement.
